The secret morse code in Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston’s black and white diamond wedding bands

Radio king Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston tied the knot on Saturday in front of their loved ones – including celebrities, politicians and family.

And while the couple exchanged vows, they also exchanged stunning and very meaningful wedding rings.

Zena and Tariq K’dor van House of K’dor are old friends of the couple and designed and created the rings as a wedding gift for the couple.

Zena told Daily Mail Australia exclusively that the bands contain not only beautiful black and white diamonds, but also the couple’s initials and secret “Morse” codes.

“K’dor was honored to create custom wedding bands for Kyle and Tegan, designed with love and unique to both of them, featuring the initials of K, T, and O for their new son,” she said.

Zena K’dor of House of K’dor told Daily Mail Australia exclusively that the couple’s white and black diamond wedding rings contain the couple’s initials and secret “Morse” codes

“Meticulously handcrafted in 18k white gold with a combination of black and white diamonds, the initials are crafted in Morse code, one of K’dor’s signature collections.”

Morse code was invented in 1844 and assigned dots and dashes to each letter of the English alphabet.

It was initially used for the telegraph, sending electrical signals over wires and between stations before being converted to sounds and sent over radio circuits.

House of K’dor has its own Morse Code collection that inspired the newlyweds’ rings.

Sandilands told the Daily Mail Australia that famed jeweler House of K’dor donated the rings as a thank you for being a long time customer.

He revealed that Kynaston’s ring was a delicate band while his was much flashier.

“Tegan likes dainty looking jewelry, apart from the engagement ring, that’s a monster. But she doesn’t like too big,’ he explained.

“And then I have a platinum ring surrounded by black diamonds.”

Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands tied the knot for the second time on Saturday during a spectacular wedding.

The 51-year-old shock jock said ‘I do’ to communications manager Tegan Kynaston, 37, at the heritage-listed Swifts mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point – as much of the city took cover to escape the downpour.

The newlyweds exchanged vows in front of 130 guests at the $60 million late Victorian Gothic Revival property in a ceremony that reportedly cost the KIIS FM presenter and Australian Idol judge a cool $1 million.

It is the second time through the altar for Sandilands, who married pop singer Tamara Jaber in 2008 before divorcing two years later. Kynaston has never been married before.

Sandilands had alluded to the price of his marriage The Kyle and Jackie O Show last Monday, he and his co-host Henderson challenged listeners to guess the cost of specific elements of the wedding in a game called “Higher or Lower.”

‘Do you know where I made the mistake? When I first met the wedding planner and wedding stylist… they said, “Okay, what budget are we on?” and I said, ‘There’s no budget,'” Sandilands said at the beginning of the segment.

One of the most expensive features was the floral arrangements, which cost a whopping $150,000.

Henderson, who spent just $80,000 on her marriage to ex-husband Lee in the early 2000s, was stunned by the price tag and asked Sandilands, “150,000 for something that dies a few days later?”

“Well, everybody can take home flowers and stuff,” Sandilands shrugged.

Kynaston’s wedding dress cost just under $50,000, while the bridal party and pageboy suits cost more than $15,000.

The entertainment, including renting multiple stages, audio equipment, and sound trucks, cost more than $100,000.

Sandilands also hired several instrumentalists, saying, “There are saxophone guys, there are string quartets. It’s something big.’

Sandilands clarified that he actually saved money on the artist fees, as his pop star friends Guy Sebastian, Conrad Sewell and Samantha Jade had agreed to perform for free.

The wedding stylist’s fee was less than $250,000, while the food — which included an oyster bar and caviar — cost less than $75,000.

Sandilands revealed he spent less than $120,000 on security details, including 15 private security guards and members of the NSW and federal police.

The combined cost of the videographer and photographer was less than $80,000, while the wedding invitations cost less than $15,000.

Sandilands also said his wedding cake, which he described as a “five-tiered monster,” cost more than $8,000.

A live organist also set the couple back $3,000.

Newly minted NSW Labor Premier Chris Minns and his wife Anna were also invited.

Sandilands and Kynaston entered their wedding with a “very high chance” of rain and a “potential thunderstorm” in the port city.

Tradesmen were spotted at the Swifts’ home on Friday, setting up a marquee to fend off the forecasted showers for the weekend.

The weather wasn’t the only issue on the big day, as the federal opposition criticized Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for agreeing to DJ at the wedding.

At a press conference on Friday, Mr Albanese confirmed that he would be attending.

Mr Albanese noted that he was not in charge of the invitation list, which included convicted drug smuggler Simon Main – the best man – and Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim, and went on to describe Sandilands as an Australian success story.

Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley took the opportunity to criticize Mr Albanese’s priorities in a statement, saying: “There is nothing wrong with going to a friend’s wedding, but it is curious that the Prime Minister thinks he can take a day off a few days before his first birthday. real budget.

“Australians will rightly wonder whether the Prime Minister should play cards on a million dollar wedding if people can’t afford their rent.”

The Labor leader, 60, has a long history of performing in his spare time and running the country doesn’t seem to slow him down.

Wedding guests could expect everything from Springsteen and Spiderbait to Taylor Swift, The Killers and Cold Chisel The Daily Telegraph on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Minns office distanced the prime minister from some Sandilands guests, tellingly The Sydney Morning Herald: ‘When you go to a wedding, do you know every guest? Or do you know the bride and groom?’

It comes after Sandilands and Kynaston published a David Jones registry of gifts they would like to receive at their wedding.

Kyle’s marriage breakdown

The weather forecast for Sydney on Saturday doesn’t look good.

Sandilands and Kynaston may have been hoping for a perfect sunny day for their dockside wedding, but instead they’re looking forward to 30mm of rain.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, there is a 100 percent chance of rain and a chance of thunder.

The maximum temperature will be 21 degrees and the sky will be cloudy.

The registry stated that while guests were not required to bring gifts, there were some items they could choose from if they “insisted.”

The list included 38 items totaling $14,340, including Waterford crystal glasses and vases, bath mats, and a Nespresso machine.

Sandilands and Kynaston have been together since 2019 after going public with their romance on New Year’s Eve that year – when Tegan shared a photo of herself kissing Kyle in front of the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Two months earlier, she had denied rumors that she was in a relationship with the KIIS FM presenter.

Sandilands began dating his then personal assistant Kynaston after his breakup with his girlfriend Imogen Anthony.

The couple announced their engagement in January 2022 in a lavish proposal after Sandilands popped the question while on holiday in Port Douglas, Queensland.

The moment was complete with flowers, a red carpet, fireworks and a huge diamond ring.

“Tegan’s ring is an emerald cut diamond on a split shank platinum band,” Tobias Kormind told the Daily Mail Australia at the time.

‘[It would be] worth more than $1.14 million for a decent quality diamond, at least F color, VS1 clarity.”

A month later, also Valentine’s Day, Sandilands announced live that he was expecting their first child together, a son, before revealing that they had chosen the name Otto for his birth.

“We’re having a child!” Sandilands, who was accompanied by Kynaston, called out on his radio show.

They also surprised Henderson on-air by asking her to be their baby’s godmother, which she gladly accepted.

Baby Otto was born on August 11, as Henderson announced his arrival live on air.

Jackie, Otto’s godmother, cried with joy as she told the listeners The Kyle and Jackie O Show: ‘Otto is born!’

Kyle later gave a rather graphic update on the birth, telling “intern Peter” Deppeler live from the hospital parking lot, “Otto was born, Otto is great.”
