The Saturdays’ Vanessa White ‘splits from her DJ beau Emmanuel Lawal after growing apart following a three-year romance’

The Saturday star Vanessa White has reportedly split from her long-term beau Emmanuel Lawal after three years together.

The singer, 33, met the DJ in 2020 during the lockdown and their romance quickly turned serious, but now called it quits after ‘growing apart’.

A source told The sun: ‘Vanessa and Emmanuel got into a relationship during the lockdown and quickly became close. At some point they got serious.

They spent all their time together and went on numerous glamorous vacations. It seemed like a match made in heaven.

“But at the beginning of this year they started to grow apart and decided to go their separate ways.”

Sources added that Vanessa has focused on working on music after the breakup, and that she and Emmanuel have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The pair first sparked dating rumors in August 2020 when they were spotted together in Marbella, Spain.

They made their relationship Instagram official in December of that year.

MailOnline has reached out to representatives for Vanessa White and Emmanuel Lawal for comment.

Vanessa previously dated Gary Salter before they split in April 2017, having first started dating when she was just 21 years old.

She appeared on I’m A Celebrity just six months after the pair called off their romance, later saying she had the ‘time of her life’ on the popular ITV series.

Reflecting on their romance on the reality TV show, Vanessa confessed, “This time last year I was with my boyfriend, there are things I miss…

“When you’re with someone for so long, they become your best friend and when you get certain news…you miss sharing those moments.”

Elaborating on their breakup, she added, “I don’t know if it was ever right, the problem is I’m an indecisive person.

“I can’t even decide what to have for dinner tonight let alone make big decisions like do I want to be with someone forever?”

She added: “I was freaking out because my boyfriend was a lot older than me, I was with him when I was 21, we were inseparable.

“It’s been such a long time, nobody cheated or anything like that… I just want to make sure I’m not missing out on life.”

The singer first rose to prominence as part of the band The Saturdays in 2008 with fellow girl friends Mollie King, Frankie Bridge, Una Healy and Rochelle Humes, before splitting in 2014.

And in October, Vanessa’s bandmate Una revealed she hopes for a band reunion, admitting that a comeback “would be possible without one member.”

She said The sun: ‘I would like to do something with the girls again. I’m ready any time. If the call came to say, “You’re going on tour again in six months,” I’d say, “Yeah, absolutely, bring it on.”

“It’s possible to do without one member, but I think if there were two or three, I don’t think The Saturdays would be The Saturdays.

“If there was one who didn’t want to, we wouldn’t force them and it’s their decision, but it would be so nice if there were all five of us.”

Meanwhile, Rochelle, who has built a career for herself as a successful TV presenter, said she “couldn’t imagine” being back in the group.
