Maya Jama and Stormzy have split after disagreeing over when to start a family, MailOnline can reveal.
Love Island presenter Maya, 29, and the BRIT Award winner, 30, announced in a joint statement on Instagram on Wednesday that they have “recently decided to call it quits”.
They confirmed that the split is final, after they split in 2019 after a five-year relationship and got back together in August last year.
Sources told MailOnline the couple had been arguing over when they should move in together, as Stormzy wanted to have children as soon as possible.
Maya, who is at the height of her powers as the face of luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana, an ambassador for Rimmel London and in demand by streaming giant Netflix, wanted to wait until she had children.

“She also loves to travel and party, but at 29 she’s not ready for the next chapter.”
Maya and Stormzy made separate appearances at Wimbledon last week, with the rapper visiting the VIP suite at Evian’s Mountain of Youth alone on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Maya partied into the early hours at the popular Chiltern Firehouse, discreetly leaving the venue at 4:30am on Friday morning.
They were last seen together, hand in hand, on July 5 at the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone, where Stormzy made a headline appearance.
The couple also attended Glastonbury festival last month, after which Maya flew by helicopter to the ITV studios, where she will present Love Island spin-off show Aftersun live on Sunday evening.
She was last seen on screen during Tuesday night’s episode, in which she tasked Welsh couple Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel with eliminating one of the three couples the public think are the least compatible.

Stormzy released his debut EP Dreamers Disease the same year he started dating Maya, with the couple calling 2014 the year they “fell completely in love.”
In their statement, they retold their love story and documented the five years they spent living their own lives.
At that time, Maya was engaged to American basketball player Ben Simmons, but they broke off their engagement after eight months.
Maya and Stormzy first split in 2019 amid speculation the rapper had cheated. He later admitted on Song Lessons: “I got my shit together and I thought you’d work it out.”
On Instagram they wrote: ‘We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019 and spent 5 years trying to live our lives.
‘We have decided to try it for the last time in August 2023. We have done everything we can to make it work for the past year. But recently we have decided to stop.
“We were 21 and 20 when we first met – both early in our careers – and we’ve had five years of growing together and five years apart, so this last attempt required a lot of figuring out, relearning, and unlearning. We tried, and it didn’t work, and that’s okay.”
