The latest TikTok test – which follows the viral millennial vs Gen Z challenge – sees couples taking part in the 'name a lady' trend, where you ask your boyfriend or husband to say the nickname of a lady that immediately comes to mind.

Women simply ask their boyfriends to 'name a woman' – and if their partner says a name other than their girlfriend's, then it's trouble in paradise. But while the test started out as yet another viral challenge, according to one psychologist, it can actually serve as an indicator of who's at the forefront of your man's mind, meaning it could be the ultimate red flag test.

Clips of women testing their boyfriends have gone viral and the hashtag #Nameawoman has been viewed more than 37.6 million times. Alix Earle and her gym boyfriend Braxton Berrios – who shared their sweetheart relationship online – even joined in on the trend.

“Name one woman,” the TikTok sensation said. 'That is the question? Alex. How stupid do you think I am?' Braxton responded as his girlfriend giggled. Other men, however, were not as quick-witted as the NFL player. In one viral video, which has been viewed more than 3.5 million times to date, influencer Yolanda Diaz put her boyfriend to the test.

After her partner responded with “Zendaya,” Yolanda noted that she couldn't compete with the actress as she gasped. In another clip, a user's friend named the couple's dog Hazel, prompting his girlfriend to burst out laughing.

Influencer Brooklyn McKnight also asked her partner the question. Her friend responded with “Taylor Swift.” When the content creator heard her friend say the singer's name, she disappointingly said, “Not Brooklyn.” Her friend – who seemed confused by the statement – ​​replied: “Oh sorry.” Another user's boyfriend seemed to miss the test completely after answering “Susan B. When a man said “Madison,” his girlfriend exclaimed that she was “done with him.” A psychologist — who the outlet did not name — told Insider that the test was a way to “tap into their partner's unconscious.” Social media users have flooded the comments on viral videos, claiming their boyfriends were not reacting properly.
