Lisa Wilkinson has been spotted back in Melbourne to film a segment for The Project for the first time since her Logies speech scandal.
The 62-year-old appeared downcast as she headed back to her hotel room in Melbourne on Thursday night.
She had just sat down for an interview with pro surfer and actor Rasmus King for the show.

Lisa wore a grim expression as she strolled back to her room, carrying a can of soda and her phone.
She had earlier beamed for a selfie with the 17-year-old sportsman and a friend, holding her phone aloft to get a good angle.
The embattled television host laughed heartily with the two men, but again appeared glum following the photo session.

Lisa returned to The Project in July and reportedly ‘raced back’ to Australia so she could fill the hosting position, after decamping to Hollywood for several weeks following her disastrous Logies speech that resulted in a rape trial being delayed.

It came after she decamped to Hollywood for several weeks following her disastrous Logies speech that resulted in a rape trial being delayed
The former Today host was pulled off the air in June after she spoke of the Brittany Higgins upcoming rape trial while accepting an award at the Logies.
The court case in question, originally scheduled for June 27, was delayed until October as a result.
An ACT Supreme Court judge ruled Wilkinson’s speech had ‘obliterated’ the line between allegation and a finding of guilt.

Wilkinson is expected to be called as a witness at the trial as she had interviewed the accuser on The Project before charges were laid.
During her absence from the live panel, she recorded interviews in California with the likes of Gloria Allred and Ryan Tedder for The Project.
Lisa broke her social media silence and revealed she was in Los Angeles on July 18.

She had last posted to her Instagram on July 10, to plug her pre-recorded interview with swimmer Michael Klim which aired on The Project that night.
