Said to be inspired by famed architect Floyd Lloyd Wright, the house retains many original features, including pebbled glass fittings and other finishes.

According to sales agent Jellis Craig three builders – Ian, Max and Malcolm Delbridge built the home for their father and mother between 1957 and 1960.

The house has continually attracted filmmakers as a filming location and has been used in TV commercials for Just Jeans, Jeans West and Nicorette.
