The trailer for the season finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was released Friday on the official Amazon Prime Video YouTube account.

In the clip, several characters from fans’ favorite fantasy series were seen preparing for the possible arrival of the dark lord Sauron.

The last episode of the fantasy program, which is based on the book series of the same name, is currently premiering this Friday.

The elf warrior continued to explore what appeared to be the wreckage of a ship, while another character came across a carving of what appeared to be Sauron’s helmet.

Looking around: The elven warrior continued to explore what appeared to be the wreckage of a ship, while another character came across a carving of what appeared to be Sauron’s helmet

As Bronwyn’s son Theo stares at a suspicious-looking staff, a series of off-screen characters say, “You’ll finally be known for who you really are, for you are Lord Sauron.”

The dark lord is then shown facing Middle-Earth, and another character says that “The Southlands are in grave danger.”

Bronwyn goes on to tell Theo that “after all, this shadow is but a passing thing,” and Arondir fends off a pack of orcs outraged.

As several characters prepare to face Sauron’s forces, the elven warrior says, “Soon will be setting. Do your part. We’ll see it rise again.’

After several individuals volunteered to defend their lands against the dark forces and others became the target of various creatures, Galadriel says that “I did not cross that bitter ocean to drown now.”

A Balrog is shown roaring, and molten metal is shown being poured into a mold and another character saying that ‘we are about to create a new kind of power’.

A lightning-fast montage of scenes was presented and the trailer ended with a warrior attacking an orc with a vicious spinning back kick.
