“I think we took a big step forward when we launched this show on Hulu,” Winston added.

“It just felt elevated and it felt more appropriate to where the family was and who they are as these successful, powerful, brilliant women who still resonated with an audience because of this closeness to the family,” he continued. “And I think it will continue to develop.”

Winston also spoke of the unpredictability of such a long-running reality show.

“What scares me and what excites me about this show is I have no idea what season five is about and season six, what a controlled maniac, you think, ‘Oh God, what if they don’t do anything? What if they just want to watch TV?”‘
