“That’s disappointing,” one user wrote after the winner was announced, while another wrote, “I I have no opinion about Skye because I have no idea who she is or what she does. This year’s I’m A Celebrity is a non-event.’

Another X user had a spray for the voting public, writing: “Who ever voted for Skye has no idea. She went through so much and most of it was just attracted. In my opinion, Tristan should have won in a much more creditable and sincere manner.”

“Anyone who didn’t know he would be crowning a nobody’s ex-reality TV contestant the winner tonight wasn’t paying attention. Well played to have a real celebrity reach second place,” another viewer wrote.
