The case is said to be classified as a ‘dissolution of marriage without minor children’ as the couple had no children together, however Masters does have a son from a previous marriage.

The couple became engaged after Marsters romantically proposed to Rahman in Trier, Germany, in May 2010, where he is said to have studied fashion.

The former couple are said to have first met during a concert in Amsterdam some years earlier, and they tied the knot in Los Angeles in January 2011.

He told People magazine in 2006 about their meeting, saying, “I met her backstage and got her phone number, but then the crew cleaned my jeans and they were thrown away.”

He continued: ‘I had given him my number, but he got one digit wrong. It took him six months to call all the different combinations.’

Marsters was previously married to Liane Davidson and the couple share a son, Sullivan, 24.

The actor ended his marriage to Davidson in 1997 after eight years together.
