Sunday night’s episode of The Block fell into chaos after a carpenter decided to end the show in the final hours before the finish.

Sharon and Ankur were left with one tradeie 16 hours before the deadline after colliding with their trader Scotty.

The controversial pair often clashed with Scotty and their builder Liam throughout the season, with both sides accusing the other of not weighing their weight.

During the dramatic episode, Scotty was last seen on camera at 4:30 PM and did not return.

“The big dog is out of here!” he announced, before telling the cameras that this was definitely “the last time” he would ever appear on the show.

‘It’s pretty typical of the whole thing. It’s our last day on the show, we have so much work to do and you left at 4:30 PM. It’s The Block’s last day, mate!’ Ankur explained it to cameras.

“He just left us,” Sharon said, claiming that Scott even complained that he had to work weekends.

‘It’s like you don’t want to be here? Okay, cool – we have to keep going.’

After they parted ways, their carpenter wished them a half-hearted “good luck with the rest” – which Ankur did not like.

“He just left us,” Sharon said, claiming Scott even complained that he had to work weekends

‘Thank you. It’s like, ‘Go to hell!’ he shot back.

“That’s nice, isn’t it,” Sharon said sarcastically. “While we’re still committing suicide.”

The Block continues on Channel Nine on Monday at 7.30pm.

With millions of dollars of profit at stake, the pressure seems to be mounting for most couples. (Pictured: Host Scott Cam)
