Today’s #stylefile offered by Covid! During our third season in the pandemic, I finally got our penultimate judging day!’ she wrote.

“Neale and I went down and after 14 seasons it was the first time I couldn’t judge. I know Alisa and Lysandra will love it.

“I can’t wait to hear their thoughts. So tonight I’m taking it easy, watching @theblock Covid-free as a spectator!’

Former contestants and The Block royalty Alisa and Lysandra filled in for Shaynna and Neale on Sunday night.

The twins were a fan favorite during The Block: Sky High in 2013. So much so that they appeared the following year for The Block: Fans vs Favorites.

After their success on the show, they left their jobs in the police force and founded their own interior design company, Alisa & Lysandra Interiors.

The sisters responded under Shaynna’s post: “Sorry the ‘rona got you’. Thanks for all your support and [it was] an absolute privilege to be in your shoes for a night.’

Fellow Block judge Darren Palmer also sent his best wishes, writing, “We’ll hold the fortress until you return.”

It comes after Woman’s Day reported that Shaynna felt bad that her upcoming project Country Home Rescue wasn’t being promoted much at the Nine Upfronts.

“There’s no doubt that Shaynna is feeling a little let down behind the scenes,” an insider said.

‘She takes pride in her work and this was a TV project with her children. If it were pushed aside – she’d wonder where she stands with Nine.’

Shaynna has become a staple Nine star in recent years following her long stint as a judge on The Block and her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice last year.
