Married At First Sight couple Ellie Dix and Ben Walters found themselves on rocky ground during Intimacy Week.
The registered nurse, 32, was left disappointed after her groom mocked her as they enjoyed a romantic dinner together on Tuesday night.
After returning to their roomm Ellie revealed in a video diary that Ben had mocked her after she told him she believed he was on the show for the right reasons.
“Ben and I decided to go out to dinner and we talked about our expectations after the show,” she began.
“Then he asked me if I think he’s here for the right reasons or if he’s here trying to promote a podcast. And I said, ‘Yeah, I think you’re here for the right reasons,’ and he basically mocked me and it was a very high note.”

Ellie admitted the incident made her feel ‘really awful’ as Ben ‘belittled’ her.
‘To be honest, it struck a chord and I felt really stupid. I thought he was just belittling me,” she continued.
“Why would you start that conversation and then make me feel so stupid? I feel really irritated. The way he treated me was really terrible and I don’t want to stand for that.’
“Now I’m wondering if he’s here for the right reasons because I don’t want to waste my time. I’m not here for the airtime. Now I have a little doubt,” she said.
It comes after Ny Breaking Australia revealed MAFS is set to be rocked by a scandal involving Ellie and Jonathan McCullough, who has been linked to Lauren Dunn.

An insider told Ny Breaking Australia it will all happen at a future commitment ceremony.

‘She was completely stunned and humiliated at the end, but everyone else is happy for them.’
