The takeover of Leeds by California-based 49ers Enterprises – who already own a 44% stake in the club – could be completed THIS WEEK as they close to a deal with chairman Andrea Radrizzani

Leeds United and the 49ers Enterprises are closing in on a takeover deal after productive talks on Monday.
It is hoped a solution can be reached before the end of this week, with the 49ers valuing the club closer to £170m following relegation to the Championship.
Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani apologized to supporters after leaving the Premier League, saying there was a need for change. He has since seen his Aser Company consortium complete a successful takeover of Italy’s Sampdoria.
That would have been an important move, indicating he was still willing to hand over control of Leeds to the 49ers Enterprises, who already owned a 44 per cent stake in the club.
Leeds are looking for candidates to succeed Sam Allardyce as manager and are looking to appoint a new director of football to fill the void left by Victor Orta’s departure.
Those appointments will go ahead once the acquisition is confirmed in the coming days.
