Walking along the coast is often a peaceful moment and a form of distraction from life’s worries.
But this was certainly not the case for the man with his dog this Saturday morning as he walked along the golden beaches of the seaside town of Bournemouth, Dorset.
A video shared online shows the moment the man was inches away from a landslide from a nearby cliff next to the path at Durley Chine.
The terrifying footage shows the huge patch of rubble and a tree slipping and sliding down the cliff before sweeping two rows of beach huts.

The BCP Council confirmed that the landslide was a result of the recent heavy rainfall the resort town experienced.
The video, which contains no audio, then shows a man waking up in front of the line and dramatically running away from the swept huts with his dog.
Following the incident, which took place around 9.30am, a wider cordon was placed around the site by the police and the BCP council.
The cordon was an extension of the existing cordon that had already been established after a landslide on October 9.
Cllr Richard Herrett, destination, leisure and commercial portfolio holder at BCP Council, said: ‘Following further heavy rainfall, we can confirm that a cliff slide occurred near Durley Chine at 9.45am this morning, affecting access to a number of beaches. cabins and parts of the adjacent boardwalk.
‘This is in the same part of the Chine that suffered a cliff earlier this month and a larger section has been cordoned off in the interests of public safety while the site is inspected by the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) team of the municipality. .
‘We are informing beach hut license holders and will provide updates once further assessment has been carried out.’
