She was the fiery-haired teen pop star behind the original shopping mall tour in the 80s – can you guess who it is?

At just sixteen years old, this copper-haired teen idol was too young to tour mainstream venues in the ’80s, so her management team came up with a brilliant alternative: concerts in malls.

The nationwide mall tour – the first of its kind – saw her perform for fellow teeny-boppers across America, leading up to her self-titled debut album in 1987.

The record sold a whopping seven million copies worldwide, no doubt due to its early fame at every teenager’s favorite hangout.

Can you guess who it is?

Now twice divorced, the mother of one, she became an ’80s pop sensation at the age of 16 after performing in malls across the country.

The former teen pop star is still rocking her iconic fiery locks at age 52, as seen in these recent DailyMail.com photos in Los Angeles last week

The former teen sensation, known as Tiffany in her heyday, is today a twice-divorced mother of one who still sings and tours the country.

Tiffany Darwish, now 52, was spotted at her show at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California in exclusive photos from DailyMail.com.

Dressed in black leggings, a purple tie-dye shirt with her famous red locks and colorful extensions added, and black nail polish, she carried two large bags to the back door of the venue.

Still as professional as ever, Tiffany showed up more than three hours before she was scheduled to take the stage with her band at 8 p.m.

The Canyon Club sells a variety of tickets. Guests wishing to dine arrive at 7pm, while others can simply have a drink at the bar or even stand during the show.

There’s even a small dance floor, so customers can make a move as their favorite song is performed.

Tiffany now lives far from Los Angeles on a quiet farm in Tennessee.

Tiffany popularized the concept of mall tours in the 1980s, performing for fellow teeny-boppers across America, leading up to her self-titled debut album in 1987.

These days, Tiffany enjoys a quieter life on her six-acre farm in Springfield, Tennessee, but continues to perform at concert venues in LA

Her signature 1987 song “I Think We’re Alone Now” became an international hit and made her one of the biggest pop stars of the decade.

The song was originally recorded in 1967 by the rock band Tommy James and the Shondells, but it was Tiffany who took it to the top of the charts.

She even managed to knock Michael Jackson’s Bad from the number one spot on the Billboard 200, making her the youngest female artist to reach the top spot.

Tiffany then shocked the world by posing for Playboy in 2002 at the age of 30 to show the world that she was no longer that teenage artist.

“I would do it again,” she said later.

In 2011, she returned to the music scene with her country-pop style LP entitled ‘Rose Tattoo’.

Born Tiffany Renee Darwish in Norwalk, California, she has a good attitude about the hit song that made her famous. She says she never tires of singing it to fans, saying, “That song still gives people joy.”

No wonder she was a hit: Her take on the Beatles’ 1963 hit, “I Saw HIM Standing There,” is another chart-topping hit that she still performs to this day, along with the somber ballad “Could ‘ve Been.’

The night at the Canyon Club was a success when her friend Goonies, actor and singer Corey Feldman, 53, showed up to support his friend and enjoy the show.

Tiffany has a busy tour schedule, after which she returns to her six-acre farm in Springfield, Tennessee.

A country girl through and through, she says she loves gardening and country life after leaving Los Angeles more than 20 years ago.

She was married to Bulmaro Garcia from 1992 to 2004. They have a son Elijah, 32, and later dated Benn George from 2004 to 2018.
