Ted Nugent calls Ukraine president a ‘gay nutcase’ at Trump’s first campaign rally in Waco, Texas
Rocker Ted Nugent kicked off former President Donald Trump’s rally in Waco, Texas on Saturday by holding a moment of silence for the January 6 “political prisoners” and hammering away at US dollars going to Ukraine.
He even went so far as to call Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a “homosexual nutcase.”
Nugent was tasked with performing the national anthem for the rally — Trump’s first in Texas of the 2024 presidential cycle.
But before playing his electric guitar version of the Star-Spangled Banner, Nugent addressed the audience and told them they were the “real America.”
“I’m telling you the whole world sucks and America is catching up, but here in Waco, Texas with the real assholes, this doesn’t suck at all,” Nugent said.

The musician then turned his attention to Trump supporters imprisoned for participating in the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
“How about a prayer for the political prisoners in Washington, D.C., who are victims of Uncle Sam booted thugs, who defied their oath to the Constitution and arrested Americans and denied their constitutional rights,” Nugent said.
He then asked for a “moment of silence for the political prisoners.”
Afterwards, Nugent said he had a few ideas for the country.
“Secure my border!” he screamed.
Give me my tax money back. I did not authorize the killing of babies at Planned Parenthood,” he said. “I want my tax money back. I want my tax money back. I did not authorize our military hardware to be given to the Taliban.”
“I want my money back,” he continued. “I didn’t authorize money to Ukraine for some gay nutcase.”
