The Last Dance is the third part of the Venom films and will be released in theaters on October 25.

Tom looked quite terrifying in the trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, as he teased the conclusion of the superhero trilogy.

The actor, 46, plays the dual roles of Eddie Brock and Spider-Man villain Venom in the teaser for the final installment of the film series.

It becomes clear that the duo will be forced to deal with an alien from Venom’s home planet, while at the same time being hunted by the government.

A teaser for the film’s plot reads: “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Chased by both their worlds and as the net closes in, the duo is forced to make a devastating decision that will bring the curtain down on Venom and Eddie’s final dance.”

In the trailer, the Hollywood star gets back in on the action, transforming into Venom to eat various criminals while continuing to crack jokes.

We see fugitives Eddie and Venom on the run, fending off underwater attacks and avoiding explosions, before battling an alien monster on top of a plane.

Ted Lasso star Juno Temple makes her debut as scientist Dr. Payne and warns of the importance of keeping the existence of extraterrestrial life a secret.

While actor Chiwetel Ejiofor – who previously played Dr. Strange villain Karl Mordo starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – taking center stage as Orwell Taylor, a military soldier who wants to track down Eddie and Venom.

There are also glimpses of Stephen Graham’s Patrick Mulligan, while Peggy Lu returns as fan favorite Mrs. Chen and Notting Hill star Rhys Ifans can be seen briefly.

Tom’s growling Venom voice can be heard ominously saying, “Eddie… the time has come” as the trailer closes on a signature goofy note, with the symbiote taking over a horse.

Tom first revealed the news last November that he was working on a third and final part of the film trilogy.

The British actor and writer – who helped create the story for Venom 3 alongside superhero film director Kelly Marcel – shared a black-and-white photo of the pair with stunt double Jacob Tomuri as he revealed the big news.

He captioned the photo: ‘V3N0M 3 The last dance — thankfully we’re shooting again.

‘And I’d like to take a moment to thank all the teams on the journey from V1 to here so far. All our fantastic cast and crew – close friends and family – we’ve come a long way.”

He continued: ‘It was and remains a lot of fun this trip. There are always difficult turns when we work, but it doesn’t feel so difficult when you love what you do and when you know you have great equipment and support from all sides, from a great team.

“Surrounded by talented and passionate departments and surrounded by people you love and care about, it doesn’t get any better.”

Tom went on to talk about “how proud” he is of Kelly, who he described as his “director, writing partner and dear friend.”

He said: “It fills me with pride to see you take over,” before saying it was his “honor” to work with her.

He continued, “Your instincts are always perfect. First class – I support you. 100%. As always. And I really enjoy working with you and seeing how you take on bigger challenges each time.”
