Taylor Swift has made an offer to perform at the coronation of King Charles III.
The 33-year-old singer turned down an offer to sing at the coronation last May in London, according to author Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.
The Grammy winner was in the middle of her The Eras tour and played multiple dates at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium from May 5 to 7, while the coronation took place on May 6.
The Look What You Made Me Do artist wasn’t the only notable name to play at the coronation, Scobie said in the book, adding that putting together a show for the coronation concert was “a challenge.”
Elton John, 76, pulled out of the show due to scheduling issues, his rep said American weeklyadding that other entertainers reported to have continued to perform at the event included the Spice Girls, Harry Styles and Adele.

Among the entertainers who performed at the event were Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli and Take That.
Ahead of the show in April, Perry said she was “grateful” to attend the event, in an interview with Entertainment tonight.
She told the outlet, “I met His Majesty-to-be a few years ago, and he named me as one of the ambassadors of his organization, The British Asian Trust, an organization that helps combat child trafficking.
“So I’m also an ambassador for UNICEF, and it really aligned with my values. That’s mainly why I’m going, to be an ambassador and say, “Hey, this is me from the US.” No, but it’s so cool.’
Richie, 74, told the outlet of his participation: “To be in this part of history, I’m just blown away, I’m so excited to be there. I walk through history.’
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, 42, attended the Shake It Off singer’s Aug. 8 show in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. Prince Harry, 39, was on a business trip in Asia at the time, the US said.
Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival is scheduled for Tuesday.

Swift announced on Monday that her hit The Eras Tour will come to streaming services next month.
The Anti-Hero singer – who invited the family of Ana Clara Benevides Machado to her show in Sao Paolo – revealed that her tour film will be released as an extended version with three additional songs.
She wrote: ‘Hi! Well, so actually I have a birthday coming up soon and I thought a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!’ she wrote.
“I’m very pleased to tell you that the extended version of the film, including Wildest Dreams, The Archer and Long Live, will be available for rental on demand in the US, Canada and other countries to be announced soon starting… .you guessed it, December 13th.’
December 13 is the All Too Well singer’s 34th birthday.
News of the concert film debuting on-demand and available to watch at home comes as the Shake it Off singer wrapped up her global, record-breaking Eras tour in Brazil on Sunday evening.
The Taylor Swift: Eras Tour film also set records during its limited run in AMC theaters.
It is the highest-grossing concert film of all time in North America and was the first in history to gross over $100 million domestically, as well as the first independently released film to reach that mark in just two weekends in ten years.

Swift financed the film herself, which grossed more than $165 million in the US. The movie was filmed during the Bad Blood hitmaker’s three shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
With the three songs added to the extended version of the film, only two songs from her original set lists remain missing: Cardigan and No Body, No Crime.
Fans reacted ecstatically to the news in the comments of the Grammy winner’s post, with many of them asking why Cardigan wasn’t on the list.
One fan wrote: ‘Taylor said: ‘Time for Swifties in home therapy,’ while another said: ‘OMGGGGG!!! I can’t wait to rewatch 20 times!! Only Tay gives gifts to Swifties on HER own birthday!!”
Another fan reacted very enthusiastically, writing: ‘Are you kidding me OMG I’m screaming!!!!! I WILL WATCH THE ERAS TOUR FILM 24/7 FROM DECEMBER 13.’
