Take (40 hours of) That! Fans of 90s pop band armed with tents, airbeds and sleeping bags start queuing for concert nearly TWO days before it is due to begin

Take That fans, armed with tents, air mattresses and sleeping bags, began lining up for the band’s concert almost two days before the concert was due to start.

Around 30,000 music lovers will attend the Carrow Road stadium in Norwich, Norfolk, this evening, with some dedicated fans arriving outside as early as 5am yesterday.

Take That is currently playing 40 stadium shows as part of the ’90s pop band’s This Life tour.

Debra Legg, 59, was the first fan in line at 5am yesterday and explained that she enjoys the “atmosphere” that comes with camping outdoors.

‘It’s just great. It’s a fantastic atmosphere, a lot of us are friends,” she told the station BBC.

Mrs Legg, from Swindon, said she had seen the band ‘probably about 100’ times.

Ciara Oakes, 26, was one of the first to arrive in the queue on Monday morning and claimed the furthest she has ever traveled to see Take That was Dubai.

The devoted fan brought a tent, air mattresses and sleeping bags to camp outside the stadium before the concert.

‘It was very good, there is always a good atmosphere and everyone gets along well. You know people who have done it with you before,” she said.
