T-Pain reveals he was involved in a hit-and-run in Atlanta as he shares video from the crash scene and says culprit has been located: ‘We found his a**’

T-Pain said he was involved in an accident in Atlanta on Sunday while traveling home from the airport.

The 39-year-old rapper went live on Instagram and showed the aftermath of the crash, after a speeding driver rear-ended his car and fled the scene.

In the video, the musician – who performed in Melbourne earlier this year – gave a stern warning to the other driver, telling them: ‘Look man, I know there’s people out here having a hard time and stuff. Times are tough these days.”

“But whoever hit the back of my goddamn truck, whoever hit me, my wife, my road manager… whoever did that and was driving the car, fuck you? My nigga. Life is about to get a lot worse.”

He later updated fans on his Instagram Stories, revealing that the perpetrator has been found: “UPDATE: WE FOUND HIS A**” he wrote, along with three purple devil emojis.

Fortunately, he appeared to be unhurt in the crash, although he noticed his driver had to go to the hospital.

It appears his wife Amber Najm was also unharmed as the rapper made no mention of her being injured. The couple has been married since 2003.

In the video, T-Pain – born Faheem Rashad Najm – pointed out that the other driver’s bumper had fallen off, and that it would only be a matter of time before police found the car.

“First of all, n***a, you left the whole damn front of your truck, so now we know what we’re looking for.”

“You left your damn baby toy behind.” So now we know you have children,” he added.

The Buy U a Drank hitmaker said he was more frustrated about the other driver not stopping than about the crash.

“Look, I know times are tough. And I know it’s hard there. But I’ll tell you what: things are going too great for me not to let myself get even now. Because you fucking drove away, and boy, that was the worst. It wasn’t even the wreckage.’

“I don’t know if you were drunk, I don’t know if you didn’t pay your insurance, I don’t know what’s going on in your life,” he continued.

“Thank God I’m still alive,” he added.

Some of his famous friends left messages of support under the video.

“I’m in ATL and these are the WORST drivers I have ever encountered in my life,” wrote actress Amber Riley.

‘Every day several accidents happen on the highway when I go to work in the morning. No one uses an indicator light, no one looks before switching, and they jump in front of you even if it’s only a few inches between you and another car. I am. TIRED.’

Actor Jaleel White praised T-Pain for his positive attitude. “If ‘Kill ’em with Kindness’ was a person. Glad you and your wife are doing well,” he wrote.

Producer and fellow rapper Timbaland left three praying hand emojis.
