Suri Cruise enjoys sunshine stroll in New York City as she weighs up leaving the Big Apple for college
Suri Cruise breaks out the short shorts as she steps into spring.
The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise wore black bottoms and a thin cream knit sweater while out for a stroll on Monday in New York City.
She completed the look with a pair of black sneakers and printed socks as she listened to her headphones during the walk.
Suri’s outing comes after she celebrated her 18th birthday earlier this month while her estranged father was away filming the next Mission Impossible film in London.
“Tom doesn’t exist to her,” a source previously told DailyMail.com as the teen ‘officially’ cut all legal ties with her father on the milestone birthday.

When Suri turned 18, Tom, 61, no longer had to pay child support, which was reportedly around $400,000 a year.
“Suri won’t have any contact with her father, despite him being 18, and even if he called, she wouldn’t answer,” the insider said.
“He doesn’t exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter won’t rely on him for anything,” they added. “She feels like she has one parent and that’s her mother.”
Holmes, 45, was married to the Top Gun: Maverick star and famed Scientologist from 2006 to 2012, when they divorced and she left the church.
The Dawson’s Creek alum has since raised her daughter in New York, where they have had little contact with Tom over the years.
“Being raised by a single mother in New York has made Suri who she is,” a source told DailyMail.com. “Katie has always put Suri first and Suri loves her mother more than anything.
“She’s a smart girl and she’s turning into a very intelligent, mature woman,” they added.

As Suri prepares to graduate high school in June and attend college in the fall, another source said she is “weighing her options” but is “leaning toward” studying fashion.
‘Suri applies to schools everywhere. [Katie] “really wants her to stay in New York so they can be close,” the insider said.
“Katie is very proud of her, but is also extremely overprotective,” they added, noting that Holmes is “overwhelmed” by the idea of her daughter going to college.
