A surfer has died after being pulled unconscious from the water on the south coast of New South Wales.
The 62-year-old man was washed ashore by surfers and swimmers at Caves Beach, Jervis Bay, around 10am on Monday.
Paramedics performed CPR but the surfer could not be revived.
Officials from the South Coast Police District and the Federal Police attended.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
