The families of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will share a Super Bowl suite this Sunday, a new report has confirmed, with the Chiefs tight end spending “well over $1 million” to reserve the seats.
Kelce joked earlier this week about “losing all the money” to make sure his family and friends could watch the game in Las Vegas pitting the Chiefs against the 49ers.
And according to TMZKelce has made good on that promise, with Taylor’s parents Andrea and Scott, his brother Austin and his girlfriend Sydney joining Travis’ parents Donna and Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.
Taylor is also expected to be at the game, though it’s unclear if she’ll be in the suite Kelce paid for or if she’ll be sitting separately with friends.
Travis Kelce reportedly paid to have his family and friends watch the game in luxury
Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift have been the talk of the NFL season with their romance
Swift and Kelce’s mom, Donna, have been seen looking at suites together before
Donna recently claimed she won’t be in one of Allegiant Stadium’s VIP suites because they cost “multi-million dollars” — but her son Travis apparently paid so she can watch in luxury.
“I don’t really do much other than just count how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for the upcoming family and friends,” he said on his “New Heights” podcast.
“I’m just making sure I get the finances under control and get rid of all this money.”
Swift has already attended twelve of Kelce’s games this season and has been spotted several times next to Donna.
The pair publicly debuted their relationship in September and Swift has been a fixture at Chiefs games ever since.
She will fly back from Tokyo, where her Eras Tour has stopped, for the big match.
The Japanese Embassy in Washington posted on social media that it would make it to the Super Bowl on time, including in their statement three Swift song titles – “Speak Now,” “Fearless” and “Red.”
“If she leaves Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should arrive comfortably in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl starts,” it said.
The Associated Press reported that Swift left the Tokyo Dome stage on Saturday evening and was taken straight to her private jet at Haneda Airport.
During the trip, she will travel 12 hours and 9,000 miles to watch her boyfriend possibly capture his third Super Bowl ring.
Kelce and the Chiefs prepare for their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years on Sunday, where they aim to become the first team in nearly two decades to do so.
The 49ers, meanwhile, are looking for their first Super Bowl since the 1994 season.
