He then clarified that the seven hours would include dinner and a movie. Now the 71-year-old “The Police” singer has admitted that he loves the interest he arouses.
“I don’t mind that at all, it’s very healthy,” he says. “We never talk about sex with my parents.
I am lucky in many, many ways, and having my health at this age is something I don’t take for granted.
“I’ve lost a lot of friends who didn’t make it this far, so I cherish every day as it comes.”

He then joked, ‘Seven hours includes movies and dinner,’ which drew laughter from the audience.
In 2011, Trudie said that her husband’s original claim about their love life was a drunken boast.
But while scoffing at the idea that they “were doing it all day,” she pointedly refrained from saying that he had lied about the yoga-related practice.

She said: ‘Sting said that 21 years ago. He just turned 60, and I guess [the tantric story] it will keep going until it falls.
You know who I blame for that? Bob Geldoff. He and Sting had gone to do an interview with a rock journalist, and the interview turned into a drinking session.
‘At one point, the reporter asked how long they could go on, and Geldof said he was a three-minute man, but, since Sting did yoga, he could probably go on for hours. And Sting was like, “Well, haven’t you heard of tantric sex?”
“So Sting explained that it’s about being intimate, taking care of your partner, really engaging in intimacy before you, you know…have sex. And that’s the premise of tantra, really.
It is simply commitment to your partner.
