Stephen Curry savagely taunted a deflated Kings crowd, motioning for them to light the bar during the Warriors’ elimination of Sacramento in Game 7 of the Western Conference first round playoffs.
Curry put in a historic performance in Northern California as the reigning champions stayed alive.
With the Warriors up 115-91 with less than three minutes remaining, Curry was guarded by Kevin Huerter before Sacramento called a timeout, causing the four-time NBA champion to celebrate lavishly before mocking the post-win ritual of the kings.
Unsurprisingly, Golden State closed it out and won 120-100 in a shock blowout, especially after the Warriors were destroyed 118-99 in a Game 6 closeout in San Francisco.
Steve Kerr’s team is now rewarded with a series of Western Conference Semifinals against LeBron James and the LA Lakers.

Curry’s 50-point game was a stark reminder that he can still take the GS Warriors to greatness
Sac’s season came to an end on Sunday, largely because they hadn’t lit the bar since Game 2
Curry’s remarkable performance – most points ever in a Game 7 – led a reporter to ask the question “who can stop Steph Curry?”
It got a grin and the reply, “Hopefully we’ll never find out.”
Curry shot 20-38 from the field and 7-18 from beyond the arc in his history, making a performance that also set NBA Twitter on fire as he put the game away.
The superstar led a memorable series comeback as the defending champions struggled on the road all season and after a 2-0 defeat.
“It’s amazing because you’re still in the fight,” Curry said. ‘Better than the alternative looking in from the outside. With 0-2 behind in this series nothing was guaranteed, you don’t take anything for granted.’
Curry’s teammate and colleague ‘Splash Brother’ Klay Thompson also spoke of the historic achievement, saying: ‘What an incredible achievement. This is a Game 7 that I will forever remember as the Steph Curry game.”
Warriors’ Draymond Green added: “When you have rare situations, rare players do rare things. Steph Curry was that tonight. He was absolutely amazing.
“You can tell when he’s locked up, laser-focused. There aren’t many defenses in the world that can stop him.”
