Stacey Solomon has admitted it feels ‘strange’ to wake up in a new home after revealing the family moved out of their £1.3million Pickle Cottage this week.
On Friday, the TV host, 36, and her husband Joe Swash, 44, took to Instagram to share a photo of the family in front of their new door as they captioned the post: ‘Home is wherever I am with you… Pickle Project, Here We Go.’
And after many loved-up years at Pickle Cottage, Stacey admitted it was a strange feeling as she shared a look at their new home for the second time.
Stacey posted to her Instagram Story on Saturday morning a photo of her daughter Rose, four, in a bare living room with an ornate, white-painted fireplace.
She wrote: ‘Happy Saturday. It feels so strange not to wake up in Pickle Cottage, but so excited to take it all in and wonder what to do with this place.”
The fireplace featured black and white marble, while the white-painted wallpaper suggested the couple’s new home is a lot grander than their previous cottage.

Stacey and Joe revealed they had decided to leave their beloved home after falling in love with the new property, which is surrounded by acres of land.
Stacey told her followers that her chickens, ducks and beehive had all successfully traveled to their new home.
The Loose Women presenter said she has plans to create a huge vegetable garden and save more animals.
It was previously revealed in June that the couple had fallen in love with the eight-bedroom Victorian mansion.
The property comes with a swimming pool, extensive gardens and enough bedrooms for all their children.
They are the proud parents of Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Stacey is also mum to sons Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14, while Joe is dad to son Harry, 19, from a previous relationship.
Joe said the property will be a huge renovation project for the queen of DIY.
“We’re leaving soon and moving out of Pickle Cottage, which I never thought I’d say,” she explained in an emotional video on Instagram.
Stacey revealed why they kept this move under wraps: ‘Leaving Pickle Cottage was a huge decision for us, we had a lot of people to talk to, we had to get the kids into the idea and talk to all our friends and neighbors in the area.
“We just waited for someone wonderful to come along and fall in love with the cottage.”

She continued: ‘Pickle Cottage is our dream home, as soon as we moved here we fell in love with it and I still love it so much. It really is a special place for us. I gave birth to both girls there, we got married there, it’s just so special to us.
“But for a while now we’ve always wanted to save more animals and grow more vegetables, so we always thought that if there was ever an opportunity to get some more land, we would consider it.
‘We saw something somewhere and I thought: we could have a huge vegetable garden and offer our land to animals that need it, and things like that. We were able to bring the horses there, the ponies, and we went to look at them and we fell in love.
‘It wasn’t an easy decision, we’ve built our life together in Pickle Cottage, but now we’ve found a place where we can see our family grow and really thrive, and this is the place.
“So it’s time to say goodbye to Pickle Cottage, which feels so strange, and move on to our new chapter.
“It’s a project, we’re going somewhere completely different and it needs a lot of love and I’m excited to do it all again.”
The affectionately named Pickle Cottage is where Stacey and Joe’s reality series is based. They moved back in 2021.
Stacey and Joe first met on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2010 and had their wedding on the property in 2022.
Stacey opened up about her love for home decor in an interview with House Beautiful magazine, when responding to a question about which design trend she wouldn’t join in with.
She said: ‘I don’t think there is such a thing. It bothers me that people have opinions about someone’s home, like if there isn’t enough color or if it’s too flashy.
‘Why do you have an opinion about someone else’s house? I don’t appreciate it. Let people be free with their own homes and do what they want.
‘It may not be your style and it may not be your taste, but it’s not your house.
‘I have a passion for people who judge other people’s spaces. You live in that space. It should support you in so many ways, whether that’s emotionally or through comfort. Who are we to tell someone their space isn’t what it should be?’
