Taylor Swift thrilled her fans at Accor Stadium on Friday night as she performed the first Sydney show of her Eras tour.
The American superstar has become known for her tradition of performing two special songs for each audience during the sold-out tour, in addition to her usual set.
And as for Sydney, Taylor chose the surprise song How You Get The Girl from her album 1989.
She explained that she chooses a special song that feels right for each audience of the night, and hoped she made the right choice for Sydney.
It was clearly a good choice as the response was wild cheers from the crowd.

The second of the surprise numbers came when Taylor invited her supporting act Sabrina Carpenter Sabrina on stage so the pair would perform a cover of White Horse mixed with Coney Island.
Swift’s first Sydney concert kicked off late Friday night after storms and rain caused the Accor Stadium to be temporarily evacuated.
Despite the set for supporting act Sabrina Carpenter being canceled, Swift ultimately took the stage just over 20 minutes after the scheduled start time of 7:30 PM.
Looking on proudly was her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who caused a roar from the crowd as he arrived to proudly watch his beloved pop star do what she does best.

Fans seated on the ground and lower bowl levels of the stadium were asked to move inside after lightning struck just 6 miles (10 kilometers) away shortly before 6 p.m.
A statement from Accor Stadium, issued just before 6 p.m., told concertgoers that the three-hour show had been postponed.
“Please note: due to weather, the show start time has been postponed,” it said.
