Sophie Monk horrifies Lego Masters fans as she belts out ‘disrespectful’ attempt at national anthem: ‘WTF happened to her voice?’
Sophie Monk shocked viewers on Tuesday night as they tuned in to Lego Masters.
The singer, who rose to fame in the girl group Bardot in the early 2000s, sang the Australian national anthem, as well as the national anthems for America and Germany.
Those watching at home were impressed by Sophie’s efforts, with many mocking her singing voice.
“I wish I had more of the alcohol I drank this afternoon,” one person wrote on X.

“This is a bit disrespectful isn’t it,” one wrote, while someone else said: “Seriously. That’s a completely forced feeling and a bit of disrespect. Losing it’.
“Instant mood killer Sophie,” said another, while another wrote: “If only they could have afforded Sophie the autotune machine I would have had to mute it. That was terrible.’
Some were more complimentary, with one person saying: ‘And yet… still better than Nickleback’.
Sophie, who has appeared on the show several times, is a big fan of Lego and recently opened up about it women’s Day that her hobby, although expensive, is fruitful.

“Buying Legos is actually an investment because they sell for crazy amounts of money, so it’s one of my better financial decisions, I think,” the 44-year-old said.
She added that building Lego sets helps her manage her attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
“It’s because it keeps you busy with your hands and because you’re creating a little world — you can really concentrate,” she told the publication.
