The Modern Family star, 51, who received a ‘cold’ birthday tribute from the Magic Mike actor, 46, days before their divorce came to light, is moving on after returning to Los Angeles after a lavish getaway to Italy.

Vergara took herself to Italy to celebrate her 51st birthday, which was July 10 earlier this month.
At the time, Joe shared a tribute to the star by uploading a low-res photo of the former couple and captioning the simple “¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!” to add.
Social media users jumped on the comment, sparking speculation that all was not well within their marriage, with one fan typing, “Oh no. There are problems in paradise. I feel it.’
Another labeled the caption “cold,” writing, “Joe, I hope you’re all well, that was a very different (cold) happy birthday wish to your wife, compared to previous ones!”
Days later on July 17, the former couple announced their split and issued a joint statement to Page Six. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
“As two people who love and care for each other very much, we politely ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Sofia shares son, Manolo Gonzalez, 31, with her ex-husband and high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez. The two were married from 1991 until their divorce was finalized in 1993.
The actress also previously had a relationship with Nick Loeb, to whom she got engaged in 2012, but later called off the engagement in 2014.
In 2013, she froze embryos from IVF treatment and the couple went to court over property after their breakup. In 2021, a judge ruled on Sofia’s side, but Loeb is now suing the fertility clinic.
Joe was previously in a relationship with Bridget Peters and was briefly engaged to Audra Marie from 2010 until their split in 2011.
