Smart Single Woman, 24, Comes Up with a VERY Unique Way to Get the Attention of ‘Cute’ Men — and It Only Cost Her $22

A single wOman in search of a partner has revealed how she created a custom postage stamp to give out to men in bars – and claims it’s a great icebreaker.

Michelle Arshad, 24, living in Toronto, Canada, came up with the idea with her sister and best friend, both 23.

The trio bought $22 worth of personalized stamps on Vistaprint before creating a message with her contact information.

Michelle, who works in finance, added her Instagram account before adding a message that read: “You’re cute and I’m cute. You should call me if you’re single.’

Michelle explained how she found it easier to stamp on a man she liked than trying to strike up a conversation.

‘We are all a bit introverted. We thought: let’s buy a stamp. It’s easier than making eye contact. It’s a nice little icebreaker,” she shared.

Michelle came up with the idea in 2022 after seeing other girls making bracelets with their numbers on them and handing them out to boys in bars.

She said, “We ordered from Vistaprint. It cost $22 for 5,000 uses.”

And the friends then put their stamps to the test.

Michelle said: ‘We would ask a man “can you give us your hand?”

“They’d say, ‘What are you going to do with us?’ We stamped it and they said, ‘I see what this is now.’

Although the stamp didn’t work for Michelle – who has since met her boyfriend, 25, at the gym – she said her friend ended up buying her a drink because of the stamp.

She said: ‘Others said, “OMG, what if my friend comes home with this stamp?”

‘If he doesn’t do anything, what’s the problem? A lot of girls tagged friends and said, ‘We have to have this.’

If Michelle were single, she said she would have the “100 percent” stamp reissued.

‘It’s hard to approach a random person. It’s an easier way to talk to people and approach people.

‘I didn’t really approach anyone before. It was an excuse to spread my wings and talk to people.”
