Sia fans are not happy with the singer’s new look after she recently underwent a facelift at the age of 47.
The Australian star revealed earlier this week that she underwent the procedure after admitting she struggles with her body image while being a pop star.
But several of her devoted fans are shocked by the songwriter’s dramatic makeover and say she looked better before the surgery.
“Her face looked better before (in my opinion), now she looks like the job is done and she has joined the plastic club,” one person wrote.
“I will never have an obsession here,” another added.

“In what world is the photo on the left more aesthetically pleasing than the photo on the right?” people asked next to a before and after image.
One fan tweeted: ‘When (celebrities) have all those fillers and botox they don’t look young they look like someone who is old and now looks like a different species.
“People know you’re old, because young people don’t need all that.”

‘Sure! Complete facelift at the age of 47? Also looks like jawline contouring was done,” one person wrote on Facebook.
“And tons of fat transfer or fillers. I guess I don’t understand people who, in order to get rid of a few wrinkles, fill up their heads like a balloon. I think I just keep my wrinkles.’
However, a handful of fans are loving her ‘stunning’ facelift.
Social media users said her face looked better before
“Good for Sia for being honest about the facelift,” one user tweeted.
“But we don’t actually see her face that often.”
“I just saw the stunning change in ‘Chandelier’ singer Sia after her facelift at age 47!” added another.
‘Kudos to her wonderful surgeon, her appreciation speaks volumes.’

The Chandelier singer took the stage at the fifth annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday to thank her “good friend” Dr. Talei to present the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award.
While presenting the award, the star, who is known for masking her face with a wig, revealed to the audience that she had gone under the knife.
She said: ‘I’m a pop star who usually hides my face and doesn’t lie about things. I got a great facelift from Dr. Talei. He’s incredible. And he does so much good work – and not just for the pop stars of the world.”
Dr. Meanwhile, Talei said, “I don’t know if you guys know how great Sia is as a person. We have a lot of mutual friends and it’s always shocking how many of them keep saying, ‘I love her, I love her, I love her. She is amazing.’

Sia became better known for her disguises, but occasionally showed her face (pictured left and right in 2015)
Sia has been known to cover her face with various disguises since she rose to fame – after joining the music industry in 1995 – as she previously revealed she was determined not to be judged by her appearance.
She said: ‘I don’t want to be criticized for the way I look on the internet. I’ve been writing pop songs for pop stars for a few years now, and I’ve become friends with them and see what their lives are like, and that’s not something I want.”
However, now she has been showing her face more in recent years and made the candid confession about her appearance on Sunday.

“I’m like, ‘Dr. Ben Talei, facelift’ for everything you could ever want.” I love him, I can’t say enough good things about him.’
As he accepted the award, Dr. Ben continued, “She really is, as you can see: a radiant ray of sunshine who made the days of my nieces and nephews. She invited them to her house for a big party, and the whole family loves her. I’m super grateful.’
He spoke about the secret of his work and his determination for a natural look, saying: ‘Instead of trying to be creative and making things up, you go back and just learn what people should look like on the inside…
‘If you know what they should look like on the inside, the outside looks normal. Like beautiful on the inside, beautiful on the outside – it’s also natural on the inside, natural on the outside. So you just respect the anatomy and that’s the easiest way to keep people natural.’

Sia, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has spoken out about her body battles in the past, admitting she was ‘dieting like crazy’ to fit into the ‘stereotype’ of a pop star.
She said: ‘I’ve been dieting like crazy for the last ten years. I try to fit into the “hot pop star” stereotype. Someone did say, ‘You don’t have to be a model. You’re actually an artist… It literally doesn’t matter what you look like.”
The star, full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, revealed in 2015 that she planned to shed the wigs that put her in the spotlight.
She said: ‘‘As I had hoped and planned, the blonde bob has become iconic. I’m going to do prosthetics, so I’m going to change my face a little bit…
‘So you can’t really tell if I’ve had an operation, if I’ve had some weird little operation. I’m not going to do anything crazy, I’m still going to look like a human being.”
Then in 2018, she revealed why she chose to cover her face with headgear during James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke Skit. She said: ‘I only wear this thing when there are cameras around. I’m just trying to keep a little bit of privacy.”
