Shocking moment a man is thrown from a car in a horrific crash where he crashes into a metal door in North Dakota

A driver was killed after being thrown from his car and crashing into a metal door in a horrific crash in North Dakota.
Another passenger was seriously injured after he was also thrown from the vehicle and a third person was slightly injured after the collision.
Salvador Mendiola, 32, of Mexico, drove south on 87th Avenue Northwest in New Town in a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer on August 5 at around 11:20 p.m.
He failed to make a turn and ran off the road, causing the SUV to roll before coming to rest at the bottom of a ditch.
Mendiola was not wearing a seatbelt and CCTV footage shows the shocking moment when he was thrown from the car before crashing into a storefront.

Passengers Lazaro Gonzalez, 25, and Salvador Gonzalez, 26, both from Mexico, were also injured in the crash.
Lazaro was in the front seat and not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car, while Salvador, in the back, was wearing one and remained in the vehicle.
Authorities rushed to where Mendiola was pronounced dead after the shocking crash.
Lazaro was seriously injured and taken to Trinity Hospital in Minot for treatment Salvador suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Video of the horrific crash shows the car skidding off the highway and rolling into a ditch.
Mendiola is then flung out the window and flies through the air at great speed for a few seconds.
He smashes the metal front door of a business as terrified witnesses watch.
The car then crashes into a parked car and comes to a stop.
The crash is still being investigated by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
