An accidental leak by Channel Nine has revealed who will appear in the new season of Love Island Australia.
Eagle-eyed fans of the show noticed that new Love Islander profiles had been added to the 9Now website and posted the information on Reddit.
The 9Now site has since removed the profiles, but it was too late for avid fans of the challenging series.
The new participants include a former contestant on Nine’s survival show The Summit, a former winner of FBoy Island US, a ‘bikini pro athlete’, viral TikTok stars and a Love Island US alum.
Sydney Paight, who competed in the fourth season of the American version of the show, also appears to have been added as a cast member.
Although 9Now did not have a photo of the US show runner-up, a link with her name was posted on the site.
The decision to add an American islander to the mix may mirror last season’s addition of Lucinda Strafford from the British version of the show, with some fans claiming this will cause drama.
“Lucinda’s casting provided the juiciest storyline of last season. It was inevitable that they would try that formula again,” one fan wrote on the Reddit post with the leak.

It comes as the new season of Love Island Australia gets underway this year, as sources have revealed the 2024 series will feature a world-first X-rated twist that causes a massive ‘fallout’.
Channel Nine season six, hosted by Sophie Monk, introduces Hotel Amor, which allows contestants to connect and switch partners without cameras on them.
Ny Breaking Australia can exclusively reveal that some couples are taking full advantage of this opportunity, leading to more outbursts and ‘mind manipulation’ than ever before.
“The upcoming Love Island Australia series has a twist with Channel Nine checking the Broadcasting Code of Practice,” a source confirmed.
“What ‘the Islanders’ does this season is 1000% X-rated and will have viewers more engaged than ever before.”
Hotel Amor is a shocking twist on the usual Casa Amor, which separates couples and lets them meet other sexy singles looking for love.
Casa Amor, which is filmed in its entirety, serves as the “ultimate test” to see whether the islanders will remain true to the other connections they have built in the villa.
However, Hotel Amor will turn off the cameras and let the participants’ loyalty be tested without prying eyes, giving them the opportunity to lie about infidelity.
