Shark Tank Australia returns after five years with a new cast of business gurus

Meet Shark Tank Australia’s newest batch of investors as the competition series returns after five years with a fashion CEO, tech guru and software mogul.

Channel 10 has announced a new cast for its Shark Tank Australia reboot.

This year, the five business stars players will need to impress include a marketing guru, an online fashion queen, and a tech mogul.

On the show, aspiring Australian entrepreneurs pitch a product or service to a group of investors known as “Sharks”, in exchange for capital in exchange for a piece of their company.

Among the ‘Sharks’ cast for the new series are Sabri Suby, founder of digital marketing agency King Kong, author and tech guru Dr. Catriona Wallace, and Davie Fogarty, celebrity millionaire and founder of online retailer Davie Group .

Rounding out the cast are online boutique fashion queen Jane Lu of Showpo and Robert Herjavec, a Canadian software mogul who rose to fame on the American version of the franchise for 14 seasons.

The news comes after Channel 10 announced they were looking for contestants for the reboot earlier this month, after the show last aired in 2018.

“Shark Tank brings together five business superstars, who are ready to put their own money on the line and turn the next big idea into a profitable venture,” begins the official press release from the rebooted fan favorite.

“If you are a budding entrepreneur with a great business idea and want to risk changing your life, the casting is now open,” he continues.

Shark Tank originally debuted in 2015 and ran for four seasons.

Its original lineup included Boost Juice founder Janine Allis and was introduced by Sarah Harris.

Billionaire investors also included tech investor Steve Baxter, Talent2’s Andrew Banks, Red Balloon’s Naomi Simson and Glen Richards, founder and CEO of Greencross Vets.
