Quinn explained in her filing Monday the circumstances behind her contact with police last month, when she accused Richard of throwing a bag containing a glass bottle at her that struck their son.

“I reported these assaults to the police,” she said, “because they were true and because I feared for our safety.”

Police told Page Six that in the incident, “the suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missing the victim but striking the victim’s child, causing injury.”

The toddler was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital, a separate source told Page Six.

Quinn said she hopes to take their son to her home state of Texas if she is granted full legal and physical custody, the newspaper reported, citing court documents, and that Richard will be “barred from any further visits” with their son .

Quinn told the court that Richard had tried to manipulate and mislead her and her lawyers last week by falsely claiming that his mother, Nancy Dumontet, had suffered a heart attack.

Quinn told the court that Nancy Dumontet “did not have a heart attack” and that Richard had tried to “exploit a family member’s false medical condition… to manipulate me, my lawyers and even his own lawyers.”

Quinn said in legal documents, “I am extremely concerned that Christian will go to extremes, including major emotional manipulation, as a means to control my activities while the restraining order is in effect.”
