Selena, who kept her romance with Benny under wraps for the first six months, talked about him during a Apple Music 1 interview with Zane Lowe.
“Without going into too much detail, I think it’s very important to meet someone who respects you, and I think it’s very nice to also lean on someone who understands the world I live in,” said the singer.
She continued, “But I would have to say that overall this is the safest I feel, and it’s been really beautiful and I’ve only grown through it. So it’s great.’
In recent months, the couple has not hesitated to venture out together on a number of occasions, including attending the Golden Globes, Emmy Awards together and sitting at a Lakers game last month.
