Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged threat against Kimora Lee Simmons has resurfaced after his ex, Cassie, accused him of rape and physical abuse in a federal lawsuit filed Thursday.
A 2004 profile on Simmons in New York Magazine claimed that “Kimora said something to Combs and he threatened to hit her” in an apparent earlier incident.
Simmons, now 48, added, “And I was pregnant! The idiot!’
According to the interview, Combs, now 54, “eventually took a knee in public to apologize.”
Simmons provided an update on their relationship at the time, noting, “I respect him because he is an avid entrepreneur and I appreciate knowing that everything he does emulates my husband.” Simmons was married to Baby Phat founder Russell Simmons from 1998 to 2009.

The New York Magazine profile is making the rounds again after Combs’ ex Cassie, 37, accused him of controlling and abusing her for more than a decade in the lawsuit.
The singer said that during that time he beat her, forced her to take drugs and ordered her to have sex with multiple male prostitutes – all while watching and recording the encounters.
In her lawsuit, she claims that Combs forcibly entered her apartment and raped her in the final days of their relationship after the two had dinner together in Malibu, California.
‘After years in silence and darkness. “I am finally ready to tell my story, and to stand up on my own behalf and on behalf of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in her suit.
Douglas Wigdor, her attorney, claimed the mogul “offered eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” but he said his client turned him down to “give a voice to all women who suffer in silence’. .’
The music mogul has vehemently denied all “offensive and scandalous allegations.”
