He continued: ‘If I see hereditary problems, I intervene.’
Disick also noted that Mason has likely seen enough of his “bizarre” behavior on KUWTK to understand the consequences, which could help him make similar choices in the future.
In May 2020, Scott checked himself into a luxury addiction treatment center in the Rocky Mountains after relapsing from drinking and drugs.
Sources say Disick, known for his hard partying and multiple stints in rehab, has been drinking heavily and using cocaine while on coronavirus lockdown.
It’s understood the star has been struggling with family life during lockdown and was still struggling to cope with the loss of both his parents a few years ago.
Disick has long had problems with alcoholism and drug use to combat his personal problems.
In the past, he yo-yoed in and out of rehab as he fought to overcome his demons.
His problems with alcohol and drugs reached an all-time high in 2014 when he downed a bottle of sleeping pills.
He immediately attempted recovery at a rehab center in Connecticut.
But just when it looked like he might finally put his hard partying behind him, he left early.

In July 2015, Disick and Kourtney broke up for good when photos surfaced of him getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo and the star began to unravel again.
In October 2015, he checked himself into a Malibu facility for drug and alcohol abuse, after previously seeking treatment in Costa Rica and Florida.
And in early 2016, after another bout of cocaine, vodka, beer and Viagra, Disick was reportedly found unconscious in bed at his Los Angeles home.
In August 2017, after months of hard partying, womanizing and bizarre behavior, Disick was hospitalized again near his home in the exclusive Hidden Hills gated community near Calabasas.
