Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams announce death of bloodhound Carl
Sarah Hyland and her husband Wells Adams announced Saturday that their beloved bloodhound Carl has died.
Wells adopted Carl in 2014, years before he and Sarah were together, but became part of their joint family as their romance blossomed.
“I try to write this through tears but it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that @carlthebloodhound has gone to dog heaven,” Wells wrote on Instagram.

‘Carl, you were a good guy. A true gentle giant. You were sweet, loud, protective and slimy, and boy did you give me the best hugs!’ he sprouted.

Referring to himself, his wife, and his other dog, Wells wrote, “Carlos the blooder, you should know that mommy, daddy, and boo love you forever.”
He added touchingly: ‘I hope you visit me all the time in my dreams to play tug of war. My jogs will never be the same, but I’ll make sure to go through the trees where the squirrels are in case you keep running with me.
