Rabbitohs legend Sam Burgess and his heavily pregnant fiancé Lucy Graham were all laughing on Sunday when it was reported that an expletive-laden tirade from Cody Walker tipped the Englishman over the edge at Souths.
The Rabbitohs’ campaign was thrown into turmoil last week when Burgess decided to leave the club after an argument with Bunnies coach Jason Demetriou.
Burgess’ sudden departure comes after he and fellow assistant coach John Morris reportedly spoke to Demetriou about his perceived special treatment from Bunnies stars Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.
That tension culminated when Burgess left the club on Wednesday, while Demetriou stated to the media that Walker and Mitchell are not in charge of South Sydney.
It was also reported that club co-owner Russell Crowe hung up on Burgess during a fiery phone call as the Hollywood star attempted to broker peace.

The final straw for Burgess, however, was Cody Walker telling the coach to ‘f**k off’ in front of the whole team during the captain’s run before Souths lost to Newcastle last weekend, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Demetriou is said to have discussed the situation privately with Walker afterwards, but Burgess felt that this should have been dealt with immediately.
Meanwhile, Burgess seemed in high spirits when he was spotted with pregnant fiancé Lucy Graham on Coogee Beach.
The couple were all smiling as they enjoyed the blazing winter sun after a dramatic week for Burgess.
The former Rabbitohs player proposed to Lucy just nine months after they went public with their relationship.
Burgess revealed that he was extremely nervous when he proposed to the hairdresser from Leeds.
When Sam appeared on Channel 7’s Sunrise shortly after arriving in Australia, he was asked how he proposed to Lucy.
While keeping the details private, he said: “I was actually really nervous, I dropped the ball, so to speak, it was a great day, a great time away, we’re both really happy.”

Lucy seemed extremely happy with her engagement ring, as she shared photos of her showing it off on Instagram.
She shared a beautiful selfie and wrote, “I make sure I can get into every picture possible with my left hand.”
Sam already shares two older children, Poppy, four, and Billy, three, with his ex-wife Phoebe Burgess (née Hooke).
Lucy recently made the decision to move Down Under permanently from Britain and it is believed her pregnancy was the reason.
