Samantha Armytage and husband Richard Lavender tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at his home in Bowral on New Year’s Eve 2020.

And on Thursday, the former Sunrise co-anchor, 46, gave fans a glimpse into her big day from two years ago, which was largely kept under wraps at the time.

She shared a photo on Instagram of Jimmy Choo’s sparkly silver high heels she wore as she walked down the aisle.

The striking heels retail for $1,095 online.

“I found my wedding shoes,” the presenter wrote “Farmer wants wife” with the message.

‘[They] go well with the uggs. A rainy day changes the wardrobe from a summer to a winter day,’ she added.

On their wedding day, the Lavenders got married at Richard’s house around noon and then went to lunch at the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral.

It was an intimate ceremony with a ‘small number of guests’ due to Covid restrictions, with Richard’s daughters Sasha and Grace and Sam’s beloved dog Banjo believed to be in attendance.

In December, the couple celebrated their two-year marriage by taking a vacation to Japan.

“Happy second wedding anniversary to us!” she wrote alongside a photo of her and Richard, 63, in the snow.

Sam has been enjoying a quieter life in the countryside since he retired from Sunrise in March 2021.

On their wedding day, the Lavenders got married at Richard’s house around noon and then went to lunch at the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral.

However, she has now returned to screens as the presenter of Channel Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife, replacing long-serving presenter Natalie Gruzlewski.

With 1.08 million people tuning in to the season premiere, Sam Seven certainly reminded of her value to the network.

An insider told New Idea that Sam had successfully won over station executives by successfully transferring her presentation skills to the reality TV world.

“She’s in a place now where she can get just about anything she wants,” they said.

After leaving Sunrise, Sam is now back on the screens as the presenter of Channel Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife, replacing long-serving presenter Natalie Gruzlewski
