Sam and Billie Faiers break silence as Ferne McCann ‘mourns’ friendship

Sam and Billie Faiers have broken their silence online after their former friend Ferne McCann told James Argent why he made cruel comments about Sam.

Former TOWIE star Ferne, 32, couldn’t contain her emotions as she discussed her fallout with her best friend, 33, whom she had known since their school years, following the voice memo scandal leak.

At the premiere of ITVBe’s First Time Mum series, Ferne confessed that she recorded the ‘hurtful’ messages because she was envious of Billie’s 32-year-old sister Sam at the time.

Since the emotional scenes aired on Wednesday night, Sam has been quiet on social media, but now he’s back on Instagram.

Posting a flashback snapshot, Sam said she was living her best life with her friends as she posed next to them, minus Ferne.

Elsewhere, Billie also broke her silence on social media when she took to Instagram to share a sweet family photo after Ferne’s admissions.

On the show, Ferne claimed to know who was behind the leak, which was seen by an anonymous Instagram account, called Lady Whistledown after the Bridgerton gossip sharer, posted a series of voicemails from a woman who claimed she was Fern last year.

One heard a woman’s voice label one of Arthur Collins’ acid attacker’s victims a ‘dumb bitch’, while another saw Ferne accused of embarrassing Sam Faiers.

She said during the episode, “I’m so embarrassed and embarrassed and I know words are very hurtful.” It was from a time when she was really hurt and in a very vulnerable and bad place,’ she explained as she reflected as she sat in her car.

They were from about five years ago, when Sam and I had a fight. It’s very difficult for me to talk about this because I don’t want to bring up the past. Would you say those things now? Absolutely not, but those for which I absolutely apologized.

“But now, because of this hate campaign and this person who has held you for five years, to arm you against me, I have lost my… I have lost some of my best friends.

I have lost my entire relationship with Billie and that hurts a lot.

“She’s been my best friend for so many years, and that plays into me not feeling complete, I feel really lost. Friendships are so important. And you say things where if you’re angry, or if you’re hurt, you say things.’

In a confessional, he told viewers that he knows exactly who leaked the voice notes, but claimed they had been edited “to remove their context.”

She said: “When I heard the voice memos I immediately remembered who I had sent them to, but I think they have since been edited to remove their context.”

‘Because? Because I believe that someone is trying to destroy me and inflict as much damage as possible on my life. There is only one person that I know of who would want to inflict this amount of pain and damage on my life. They destroyed me.

Elsewhere, the influencer revealed that she found running school ‘traumatising’ following her leaked voice memo scandal, but admitted her ‘purpose’ was to get up every day.

He broke down in tears while confiding in his friend James Argent, 35, at the series premiere of his show.

In images shared exclusively with MailOnline, Ferne confessed that she was “mortified” to drop her daughter off at school on Sunday morning.

Revealing that she was filled with “anxiety” and finding it “traumatic” to leave her house, she explained how an act of kindness from a fellow parent brought her relief.

She said: ‘To be fair, thank God for the school run. I know it sounds so stupid, but having that consistency, every day was a resolution to get up because I had to on Sunday.

‘My only savior was being a father until Sunday. Oh, it was so bad… and I’m also very grateful to some of the moms at school. I was so embarrassed to go to the school run, I was so mortified.

“It was very traumatic to walk out the front door, to get over the pap smears, the anxiety.

“There was a mom from school, who’s a good friend of mine, who called me in the parking lot and said, ‘I’m going to take her for you,’ and I didn’t even have to get out of the car.

“I think it’s those moments where I’m like…I’ll never, ever forget. I am so incredibly grateful for the friendships I have.

Arg responded, “I remember when I was associated with addiction and stuff, like I was thinking, ‘Won’t people want to be seen with me or won’t they want to be associated with me?’

Ferne said: ‘You’ve hit the nail on the head. I’m so paranoid. Is rare. I don’t want people to date me.

Arg continued: ‘You know, I’ve made some terrible mistakes in the past and you never turned your back on me. You were always there for me and supporting me and I’ll be the same, you know what I mean?

I know you’re not a bad person, Ferne. I know, listen, don’t get me wrong, those voice notes, they weren’t nice and it wasn’t the best of times and I’m not condoning them of course, but you’ve been a good friend to me over the years.

“I really would have struggled without you and I really love you and I believe in you and I know you can change this.”

Ferne concluded: “Yes, that means a lot to me.”

She broke down in tears again Wednesday on This Morning while discussing her leaked voice memo scandal.

The pregnant reality star described it as her “lowest moment” and admitted that she has been in therapy since the incident.

Ferne, who is expecting her first child with fiancee Lorri Haine, 31, said she is a ‘different person’ now and that the infamous recordings occurred six years ago when she was in a ‘vulnerable situation’.

The TV personality was shown a clip from her ITVBe First Time Mum show, which documented the scandal and fallout.

Struggling to watch, Ferne said: “I wear my heart on my sleeves and I like to be transparent with my viewers.”

‘I have to put the cameras down and it’s really warts and all. I can’t just not include the hard times.

He went on to describe the incident as not his “finest moment” and revealed that he had attempted to contact those injured in the incident.

“It was not my best moment, it was a difficult moment in my life.”

“I need to take this opportunity again to publicly apologize again, and I’ve reached out to those people, but it’s a criminal investigation, so I can’t say much.”

She continued: “The voice notes were from a time when I was in a very vulnerable situation about six years ago, I’ve been in therapy for six years since then, I’m a different person.”

In an attempt to find something positive in the sad situation, Ferne said: “I know my story will be able to help a lot of women and until then, unfortunately, I can’t say much.”
