Salt Bae pictured arriving at Champions League final after cringey World Cup antics

Not again! Salt Bae arrives at the Champions League final after criticism of his celeb chasing antics at the World Cup – in which he broke FIFA rules by touching the trophy

Notorious Turkish restaurateur Salt Bae has been spotted at the Champions League final, months after his World Cup final antics.

Questions were raised after he was allowed to take the field in Qatar and broke protocol by touching the trophy following Argentina’s historic win.

It is not the first time Salt Bae has been spotted at a Champions League final, as he was previously seen with Sergio Ramos following Real Madrid’s 2018 victory.

The chef rose to fame on social media and has previously served the likes of David Beckham and Kylian Mbappé.

He is believed to be a good friend of Gianni Infantino, which may explain his access to such high-profile sporting events.

Numerous posts on Twitter show the ched arriving at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium ahead of tonight’s UCL final between Manchester City and Inter Milan.

Fans hope to avoid a repeat of his antics at Lusail Stadium.

Not only did Salt Bae hold and even kiss the famous trophy, he repeatedly harassed Messi, pulling him back by the shoulder until the star realized a quick handshake was the only way to get rid of him.

Barring any unwanted celebrity presence in the stands, Saturday’s season-defining finale kicks off at 8 p.m.

For Man City, a win would make them just the second team in English football to achieve the treble, having already won the Premier League and FA Cup trophies.
