She married French billionaire businessman François-Henri Pinault in 2009 on Valentine’s Day.

But Salma Hayek has now revealed that she actually had no say in the nuptials, which were proposed to her by family, friends and her partner.

The 57-year-old actress recalled that she “had no other choice” in the matter when she was taken to court, describing it as an “intervention”.

Chalking it down to nerves, she recalled having a marriage phobia, prompting her nearest and dearest to take matters into their own hands.

On the February cover of Glamor magazine, the Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress shared the story of her wedding after more than 13 years of marriage.

Explaining the secret to keeping the spark alive, Salma noted that it was the “little things” as she enjoys just “doing nothing together” with her other half.
