The biographical drama film Frida portrayed the life of the Mexican artist Kahlo.
The film received critical acclaim and earned six Oscar nominations in 2003, including Best Actress nods for Salma Hayek’s portrayal of Kahlo and Best Original Score.
Salma’s guest appearance comes after Cardi B joined forces with Madonna on stage in Los Angeles, while Pamela Anderson made a surprise appearance at one of the singer’s shows in Canada.
During the London concert, fashion designer McCartney sat next to Madonna as Bob the Drag Queen added color commentary to the catwalk style.
In the past, artists such as FKA twigs, DJ Diplo, Donatella Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier have participated in the Vogue portion of the tour.
Versace and Gaultier even had a hand in designing some of the incredible costumes Madonna rocks on stage for the Celebration tour.
The Celebration Tour not only pays tribute to her extensive catalog of hits, but Madonna also uses the platform to chronicle her journey from her arrival in New York City in 1978 to her rise to fame as a global pop icon.
Other notable moments from the performance include the singer gracing the stage with her children, such as Lourdes Leon, David Banda and James.
The show also includes a moving tribute to the millions of people who have lost their lives due to complications from AIDS.
During her stop in Amsterdam, she told the audience, “When I first came to New York, I was lucky enough to end up meeting and becoming friends with so many great artists… and then one day people started getting sick and no one could understand what was happening.
