Ryan Giggs looked relaxed as he went to the hairdresser in Cheshire with his girlfriend Zara Charles on Thursday.

The former Manchester United star, 49, donned a relaxed navy blue T-shirt and khaki shorts when he arrived at the hairdresser’s.

His girlfriend Zara joined Ryan, who was dressed in tight black sportswear as she waited outside the hairdressers for her boyfriend to cut his hair.

It comes after news that a new trial has been ordered over domestic violence allegations against his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, and he’s waiting until at least mid-2023 to learn his fate.

Ryan’s girlfriend Zara, who is a lingerie model, has often been seen supporting him since they went public with their romance last year.

It comes as Ryan said he was “apparently disappointed” that a new trial has been ordered over domestic violence allegations against his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, as he must wait at least ten months to learn his fate.

In a statement, he thanked “my legal team, my mother, my children, my friend Zara and my closest friends for their support during this time.”

The decision for a new trial came after the public prosecutor’s office decided to prosecute the ex-footballer after a jury failed to reach a verdict after a three-week trial.

The former Wales coach is accused of assaulting 38-year-old Greville and her 26-year-old sister Emma amid a drink-fuelled brawl at his multimillion-pound home in Worsley, Greater Manchester.

He is also accused of coercive and controlling behavior towards public relations manager Greville for three years – allegations he denies.

Ryan said in a statement: “After more than three weeks in court, I am clearly disappointed that a new trial has been ordered.”

My plea of ​​not guilty remains on all charges. I am confident that justice will eventually be served and my name will be cleared of all wrongdoing.

“I would like to thank my legal team, my mother, my children, my friend Zara and my closest friends for their support during this time.

Giggs has kept a low profile since stepping down as Wales manager in April 2021.
