BGT viewers threaten to switch off and fume the show has lost all ‘credibility’ as they watch ‘pointless’ Sven Smith sail through audition
Viewers of Britain’s Got Talent threatened to quit for good on Saturday after seeing Sven Smith’s audition.
The 27-year-old, from London, was seen playing guitar to a medley of classic Queen hits and stripped down to reveal sparkling trousers and a tattooed chest as he frantically ran across the stage.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli were all enthusiastic about the act, although Alesha Dixon pressed her buzzer and viewers at home seemed to be on her side.

The London-based wannabe tricked the crowd into thinking he was about to play guitar, but instead ran around the stage to a Queen medley and clambered onto the judges’ desk.
Sven won the judges’ vote after former MisTeeq singer Alesha was the only one who wanted him off the show and he is now being considered for the live semi-finals.
One angry viewer wrote: ‘He didn’t even do anything. He just ran around shaking his head and playing air guitar. That was completely pointless. Utter s***e! #bgt.’
A fourth said: ‘#BGT #BritainsGotTalent the word Talent is in the title of the show. I want my money back!
But it wasn’t all negative for the wannabe star, who tricked the crowd into thinking he was actually a musician as he carried an empty guitar case onto stage.
One person commented on the YouTube video, “I don’t know why but I really liked this,” while another fan described it as “fire.”
As Queen hit Don’t Stop Me Now echoed through the London Palladium, Sven raced through the audience and former West End star Amanda jumped up from her place at the table to dance.
Sven then climbed onto the judge’s desk, where he was further cheered by the judges and audience.
As the crowd cheered, she said, “A lot happened there!”

Simon said, “Let me tell you something. It was so stupid it was brilliant. It just really made me laugh!
“I love that you’re so surprised!”
Sven said: ‘I love Simon, but I didn’t know if Simon would love me!’
He then claimed that if he won the show, his act would indeed be suitable to be performed in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Royal Variety Act.
