Russian tourist’s girlfriend falls to death after dangling upside down from seventh-floor hotel window in Thailand – before boyfriend is arrested on the spot

A Russian tourist’s girlfriend crashed after dangling upside down from the window on the seventh floor of their hotel in Thailand.

Horrifying footage shows 32-year-old Daria Iuzifiak dangling from the window of the Seven Seas Condo Resort in the tourist hot spot of Pattaya city, on Thailand’s east coast.

CCTV cameras captured the horrific moment when a delirious Daria fell to her death just before her boyfriend Oeaop Nbahobny Fedor, 30, was arrested at the scene around 6am on Sunday.

Daria was seen falling headfirst to the concrete floor below, waving her hands as she plummeted to her death.

The 32-year-old was found by guards naked from the waist down and face down in a pool of blood outside the hotel.

Her boyfriend Oeaop Nbahobny Fedor, 30, was arrested on Sunday by police on the scene in Pattaya

Oeaop was found in an “angry and uncooperative” state near her body when detained by officers.

They pinned the shirtless Russian to the ground before handcuffing him in the back of a pickup truck to the police station.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Kanisorn Apisop, superintendent in the Jomtien district of the city, said: “An initial examination of the dead woman found no signs of physical abuse on her body.

The couple’s room was cluttered with food containers and alcohol bottles, but there was no sign of fighting or strife.

“The friend is in custody. He’s got an interpreter and we’re waiting for the results of the autopsy.

‘The investigation is ongoing. We’re investigating how the friend was involved when the dead woman fell out of the window.’

He added that forensic officers took fingerprints from the room while also reviewing more CCTV footage.

Meanwhile, investigators said Oeaop rented the room and Daria came to stay with him about a week ago.

They said the deceased had filed a report with Pattaya police last August 11 and consulted Chonburi immigration officials because she had lost her passport and was trying to return home.

Her body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem examination.

Jomthien district police arrested the Russian man on charges of drunkenness, disorderly conduct and suspicion of manslaughter.

The Russian tourist reportedly denied assaulting his girlfriend during initial questioning by Pattaya tourist police and Chonburi immigration officials.

He underwent a drug test, but no narcotics were found in his bloodstream.

Thailand’s current military government has made an effort to clean up Pattaya after it was dubbed the “sex capital” of the world and a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah.

However, the city’s lucrative shadow economy based on sex, crime, booze and drugs proved difficult to tame in the once sleepy coastal city and continued to attract unwanted visitors from around the world.

A large number of British ex-pats have also set up bars in the sun-soaked resort, which has become an attractive place for retirees to retire.
