Rudy Giuliani’s radio show is canceled and he is taken off air after he kept saying the 2020 election was stolen and sparked fears Dominion could come after the station

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani saw his conservative radio talk show canceled after repeatedly questioning the outcome of the 2020 election.

The station’s billionaire owner, John Catsimatidis, abruptly ended the run over Giuliani’s election claims.

“John had warned him about that a few times and in the end he just crossed the line,” Catsimatidis producer Matt Wanning told DailyMail.com.

Asked about possible legal exposure to Giuliani’s claims, specifically Dominion Voting Systems, he replied, “Oh yeah. It’s been floating around for a while.” He did not know whether the station had specifically received a warning letter from the voting machine company, which reached a $787 million settlement with Fox News in 2023.

New York billionaire John Catsimitidis has suspended former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and quashed his show on WABC, citing his repeated statements alleging 2020 election fraud

Giuliani condemned the move in a statement to DailyMail.com, saying he was not directly aware of his suspension.

“I learn from a leak to the New York Times that I was fired by John Catsimatidis and WABC for refusing to comply with their overly broad directive which states, word for word, that I am ‘prohibited from participating in conversations about the 2020 presidential election,” he crooned.

“This directive is a clear violation of free speech and I will have much more to say about this during my 8:00 PM ET livestream, which you can watch on all my social media platforms including on X, Facebook or YouTube,” said him, plugging in his own digital program.

A Dominion spokesman said he had nothing on the subject.

The WABC show provides financial life for Giuliani, who faces a $148 million judgment after a jury found he defamed two election workers in Georgia. Giuliani is appealing.

He earned a percentage of the program’s advertising royalties. His most recent program featured extended musings on the Stormy Daniels trial of Donald Trump, but not many ads. One was from a lawyer from the region. It was not clear how much money Giuliani could make from hosting the show.

He also hosts his own Common Sense podcast, which he streams live from Florida.

Giuliani is facing massive legal fees and a multi-million judgment

It’s the latest blow for Giuliani, a former lawyer for Donald Trump, who faces a major court judgment while facing other legal dangers.

“He just turns it down. He doesn’t believe in it,” Manning said.

Catsimatidis told the New York Times he had delivered the warnings to Giuliani via text message.

“We are not going to talk about the misconceptions about the November 2020 elections,” he told the newspaper. ‘We warned him once. We warned him twice. And I get a text from him last night, and I get a text from him this morning saying he refuses not to talk about it.”

‘So he left me no choice. “I suspended him,” he said.

Giuliani was charged in Georgia along with Trump and other alleged co-conspirators.

During his last radio show, he predicted that the case against Trump over classified documents would be dismissed and called for special counsel Jack Smith to be tried. “I look forward to the fact that if Trump wins, he will be investigated,” he said.
